One of the best dinners you can have in town and worth a walk if you are a bit further away. Food: very tasty and leaves you wanting more. Ordered the mousaka and steak 3course meal option. Amazing. Only bad thing is the creme caramel (avoid) Cost: costs a tad more than the other restaurants, however includes bigger servings. Service: family business with dad and young son being very friendly. Recommended and would return.

Should definitely put this on your list. A family run place that’s a really nice smaller size that isn’t like the many commercial places in the area. Eclectic and unique historic interior with nice ambiance and soft dinner appropriate lighting. Food is good and really nice service. The best traditional place you can find.

Stamna Taverna would be nothing without these two!! Andreas and his uncle Tony have created the amazing restaurant and family vibes that we all love ♥️ Make sure to say 'hello' to the family when you visit!! (they have a few more grey hairs now though 😉)
